Job summary

Flex is seeking a Staff Analytics Engineer to own data models, metric definitions, and reporting used across Finance, Operations, Sales, and Marketing. You will work directly with stakeholders to define decisions, build models, and defend numbers presented to executives.

This role is remote in the USA with travel to offices as needed and requires ET-hours alignment. You will split time among data modeling, stakeholder reporting, ad-hoc investigations, and ingestion, delivering robust dbt

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data analytics engineering, analytics, or data science.
• Production dbt experience designing project layering, not just adding models.
• Excellent SQL with window functions and semi-structured data.

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder ownership: translate requests into specifications and drive decisions.
• Data modeling: design and layer dbt project on BigQuery from staging to marts.
• Metric definitions: define revenue, contribution margin, CAC, and related metrics.
• Reporting: build Sigma dashboards and manage data governance and platform.
• Data ingestion: manage Fivetran connectors and Python pipelines.
