SailPoint is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join our IT Data Engineering team. You will own data from ingestion to reporting, focusing on HR analytics, with dbt and BigQuery at the core of our data models, and Tableau dashboards for leadership.

You will define core metrics, ensure data quality with tests and governance, and work with Workday data while applying data privacy controls and CI/CD practices.

Qualifikationen

• 5-8 years of analytics/data engineering experience.
• Advanced SQL with window functions, CTEs, performance tuning.
• dbt modeling with tests, macros, and docs.
• Experience in a cloud data warehouse (BigQuery preferred).
• Work with data pipelines and orchestration tools (Airflow/Cloud Composer).
• Tableau Desktop/Server/Cloud experience with data sources and RLS.

Aufgaben

• Design, build, and maintain modular dbt models in BigQuery.
• Write performant SQL; optimize queries for speed and cost.
• Ingest data from source systems including Workday into the warehouse.
• Develop orchestration for data workflows; monitor data arrival and completeness.
• Define and standardize business metrics for consistent reporting.
• Implement dbt tests, docs, and code reviews to ensure data quality.
