Job summary

Kraken in New York City is hiring a senior analytics engineer to lead data modeling and analytics across North America. You will build data pipelines, develop dashboards, and work with data and product leadership to deliver high-value insights for utilities and energy markets.

You will join Kraken Analytics, driving CI/QA practices, and shaping the data layer that powers decision-making for top clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Proficient in dbt and SQL, able to handle large datasets.
• Strong Python skills for data manipulation and scripting.
• Experience building data pipelines and collaborating with engineers.
• Familiarity with modern cloud data warehouses and BI/dashboarding.
• Excellent communication to translate complex data into business insights.

Responsibilities

• Become a subject matter expert on Kraken data model for North America.
• Lead on building models, data flows, and metrics for NA markets.
• Collaborate with Data and Product leadership to prioritize projects.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and data apps for senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to coding standards, CI, and AI readiness in Kraken Analytics.
• Lead major strategic analytics projects end-to-end.
• Work with multiple Kraken teams to deliver data-driven outcomes.
