Job summary

DataArt is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to work hands-on across metrics governance, pipeline development, and legacy asset consolidation. You will contribute to reliable analytics workflows and improve data quality, consistency, and visibility across the organization.

The role involves building governed dbt models, developing Lightdash dashboards, and maintaining Airflow pipelines to feed Redshift. You will engage with non-technical stakeholders and help drive data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong analytics engineering or data engineering background.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Experience with dbt and Redshift.
• Experience with Lightdash or similar dbt-native BI tool.
• Fluent English and ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build governed dbt models for key business metrics.
• Develop Lightdash dashboards and metric trees for quality and drift monitoring.
• Create automated alerts for metric owners and owners' notifications.
• Document metric definitions, calculations, ownership, and data sources.
• Align metric definitions across business teams and ensure consistency.
