Job summary

DataArt is seeking a hands-on Analytics Engineer to work across data engineering and analytics. You will own data tasks end-to-end from source data understanding to building datasets and Power BI reports.

The role requires strong SQL, dbt, Python, Airflow, and AWS experience, with a focus on designing analytics models and scalable dashboards. This is a contract position with ramp-up expectations and a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
• Hands-on experience with dbt and modern ELT/data transformation practices.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, including dimensional modeling, fact/dimension structures, and analytics datasets.
• Experience with a modern cloud data warehouse, preferably Snowflake.
• Strong Power BI skills: data modeling, DAX, dashboards, performance.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and enhance data pipelines and transformation workflows using dbt.
• Develop clean, reliable data models for analytics and reporting.
• Work with SQL and data warehouses to troubleshoot data and implement transformations.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, semantic models, and DAX measures.
• Translate business requirements into data models and reporting solutions.
• Perform data analysis, validation, and data quality checks.
• Troubleshoot data issues across the pipeline from source to reporting.
• Take ownership and drive tasks through development, testing, and completion.
• Collaborate with business, analytics, and engineering teams to deliver production-ready solutions.
