CI&T is seeking a Senior Data Developer (Analytics Engineer) to bridge business needs with robust data solutions in AI and analytics environments. You will own data products from ingestion and modeling through validation and delivery, partnering with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data pipelines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering role at senior level
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis, transformation, and validation
• Solid experience in data modeling and data warehouse design
• Hands-on experience working with BigQuery (or other cloud-based data warehouse platform)
• Demonstrated ability to understand complex business logic and validate results from a business perspective, not just technical
• Strong sense of ownership and proactive mindset — a professional who proposes improvements, challenges requirements when necessary, and doesn’t wait to be asked to act
• Experience specifying and preparing data requirements for AI or machine learning applications
• Advanced/fluent English (reading, writing, and conversation) — constant communication with international stakeholders is required
• Track record of delivering high-impact projects quickly and with quality

Responsibilities

• Business Translation & Requirements Definition: engage with stakeholders to translate needs into technical specs
• End-to-End Product Ownership: own data products from ingestion to delivery and monitoring
• Data Quality Assurance & Validation: implement rigorous validation and quality checks
• Data Modeling & Transformation: design data layers and apply consistent business rules
• AI Enablement & Data Structuring: prepare data dictionaries and models for AI platforms
• Full-Stack Data Development: build ingestion pipelines and transformations in SQL/Python
• Proactive Problem Solving: identify improvements and propose innovative solutions
• Agile & High-Quality Delivery: ensure speed and quality in delivery
• Stakeholder Communication: explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
