Job summary

Pantheon Systems, Inc. seeks a Senior Analytics Engineer to own the analytics modeling lifecycle and develop data models in Snowflake. You will build self-serve data products and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable analytics remotely.

Ideal candidates have 6-8 years in analytics roles, strong SQL skills, and experience with dbt, Snowflake, Looker or Omni, and dimensional modeling concepts like Kimball and star schemas.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in analytics, data engineering, or a related field, with at least 4 years in analytics engineering.
• Advanced SQL skills and hands-on experience with dbt or similar transformation frameworks.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses, preferably Snowflake.
• Familiarity with BI/semantic-layer modeling, ideally using Looker or Omni.
• Strong understanding of dimensional/data modeling fundamentals, such as Kimball design and star schema.

Responsibilities

• Manage the analytics modeling lifecycle, including building and maintaining dbt models and business marts.
• Develop and maintain the semantic layer that supports the BI platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business questions into effective data models and enforce consistent metric definitions.
