Job summary

OnTrac is seeking an Analytics Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data analytics solutions and BI dashboards that drive strategic decision-making. You will partner with business units to translate requirements into high-quality reporting, collaborate with IT and Analytics teams to improve data integrity, and promote scalable, secure data practices.

The role offers remote work within states where employment is authorized, with compensation starting at $104,800–$131,000 and a potential base

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Extensive understanding of data analytics, business intelligence, and industry terminology.
• Knowledge of standard office software and technologies; familiarity with data tools and deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Data source integrity & accuracy: Create, update, and maintain data sources for reporting, analysis, and modeling.
• Metadata, pipelines & ETL documentation: Create and maintain metadata and technical docs for data sources, pipelines, ETL processes, and related assets.
• Business requirements & technical specifications: Gather requirements and translate into clear specifications.
• Pipeline & ETL optimization: Work with IT engineers to optimize data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Process improvement & automation: Identify opportunities to improve, automate, and standardize data and analytics processes.
• Data governance, security & performance: Promote best practices for data hygiene, security, and performance.
