Job summary

1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC is seeking an Analyst to join the Enterprise Customer Care Reporting & Analytics team in Ohio. The role bridges business needs and data-driven solutions, translating complex data into clear insights for decision-making.

You will work with Snowflake, Sigma, Power BI, SSMS, SQL, and Excel to analyze performance and define key metrics. The focus is on reporting, analysis, data quality, documentation, and turning business requirements into actionable data solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 1–3 years of experience working with data, reporting, analytics, databases, or related functions.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, Snowflake, and Sigma with experience working with large datasets.
• Strong SQL skills and experience querying, analyzing, and validating data within Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse.
• Working knowledge of SQL also with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) preferably with Microsoft Dataverse.
• Experience with Python, R, VBA, or similar analytical tools is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate findings into business insights.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts, including fact and dimension tables.
• Experience defining and documenting business metrics, data definitions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze performance trends, patterns, and key drivers to identify insights and opportunities to improve customer experience and operations.
• Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for leadership.
• Partner with Enterprise Customer Care leaders to gather, clarify, and document reporting and data requirements.
• Develop understanding of Customer Care metrics and KPIs used to measure experience and performance.
• Support recurring reporting needs across Enterprise Customer Care (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Define and document business metrics, data definitions, and reporting logic for consistency.
• Translate requirements into structured documentation including data requirements and transformation logic.
• Validate delivered data solutions and reporting products against requirements.
• Identify data gaps and quality issues and work with partners to resolve root causes.
• Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and visualizations for quick understanding of performance.
