Job summary

GEICO is seeking a data delivery engineer to develop and maintain data pipelines, datasets, extracts, reports and dashboards across multiple environments to support operational reporting.

As part of an agile team, you will test, validate, deploy, and provide post-implementation support while migrating SAS solutions to dbt and Power BI.

The role requires 5+ years of experience in data analytics, P&C domain knowledge, and strong communication. Hybrid on-site 3 days/week in Lakeland, FL.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• P&C claims data/analytics experience or any P&C insurance industry experience.
• Hybrid work location: Lakeland, FL (location-specific).

Responsibilities

• Design efficient, scalable data models and data delivery solutions for complex projects.
• Write, debug, optimize, and maintain SQL queries and data pipelines.
• Develop datasets, metrics, and dashboards for business partners and governance.
• Migrate SAS solutions to dbt and Power BI within GEICO.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data architectures that support client initiatives.
• Perform root cause analysis and performance tuning for data pipelines.
