Job summary

RSM is seeking a Temporary Senior Associate - Reporting Dashboard Engineer to join our Risk Consulting practice in New York. You will design and deliver interactive dashboards using Power BI and Tableau, translating business needs into scalable analytics while supporting data modeling and governance across enterprise reporting.

You will have 6+ years in BI, expert SQL skills, and hands-on experience with Power BI/Tableau, working with stakeholders in financial services to drive actionable

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in BI, reporting, analytics, dashboard development, or data engineering.
• Advanced SQL development experience with large datasets.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI and/or Tableau.
• Experience designing dimensional data models (star/snowflake).
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data integration tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate needs into scalable analytics solutions.
• Develop and optimize data models, semantic layers, and reporting datasets for enterprise reporting.
• Write complex SQL queries to analyze, validate, and transform large datasets.
• Build and support ETL/ELT processes and data integration across sources.
• Create executive dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and management reports.
• Ensure data quality controls and reporting governance across environments.
• Investigate issues and perform root-cause analysis for data discrepancies.
• Support UAT, deployment activities, and ongoing production support.
