RSM US LLP is seeking a Temporary Senior Associate - Reporting Dashboard Engineer to join our Risk Consulting practice. You will design and deliver interactive dashboards using Power BI and Tableau, translating business needs into scalable analytics.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in BI, strong SQL, data warehousing experience, and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to support enterprise reporting needs in financial services.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in BI, reporting, analytics, or data engineering.
• Advanced SQL with large datasets.
• Hands-on Power BI and/or Tableau.
• Experience with data warehouses and dimensional models.
• ETL/ELT processes and data integration experience.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into scalable analytics solutions.
• Develop and optimize data models, semantic layers, and reporting datasets to support enterprise reporting initiatives.
• Write complex SQL queries to analyze, validate, reconcile, and transform large datasets.
• Build and support ETL/ELT processes and data integration workflows across multiple source systems.
• Create executive dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and management reporting packages.
• Implement data quality controls and reporting governance standards to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
• Investigate reporting issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve data discrepancies.
• Support user acceptance testing, deployment activities, and ongoing production support.
• Document reporting solutions, processes, and technical specifications.
