Job summary

Martin Marietta in Raleigh seeks a Senior Manager, Business Analytics to partner with Corporate and Division leadership, delivering BI, performance analytics, and data-driven insights for strategic decisions.

You will develop scalable reporting, define KPIs, and drive adoption of data-enabled decision making across the organization, collaborating with Finance, Commercial, Operations, IS, and Data Engineering & Science to deliver dashboards and predictive solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, finance, engineering, accounting, or related STEM field.
• 10+ years of experience in business analytics, strategic finance, or related disciplines.
• At least 2 years of experience managing analysts.
• Proficiency with BI, visualization, data preparation, and data management tools, including SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Snowflake.
• Working knowledge of predictive analytics and AI/ML concepts.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; able to present complex analyses to executives.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and improvement of enterprise reporting, dashboards, scorecards, and BI solutions.
• Partner with Finance, Commercial, Operations, IS, and Data Engineering & Science to identify analytics opportunities.
• Route ML/AI use cases to Data Engineering and manage adoption plans.
• Define KPIs, analytical frameworks, and performance measurement methodologies.
• Own analytics products for predictive, prescriptive, forecasting, and AI-enabled use cases.
• Collaborate with IS to improve data access, automation, and data quality.
• Present findings to executives in a clear, actionable manner.
• Lead cross-functional BI governance and ensure scalable self-service analytics.
