Job summary

VCA Animal Hospitals is building a new Analytics, Data & Automation capability. The Senior Program Manager will identify, quantify and enable performance improvements across hospitals and support functions, connecting data sources and delivering executive-ready BI and AI-enabled solutions.

The role requires 7+ years in BI/analytics, strong Power BI/SQL skills, and hybrid work from a North America hub location (Vancouver, WA or other).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in business intelligence, analytics, automation, finance analytics, consulting, reporting or related fields.
Advanced proficiency with Power BI, SQL, Power Automate, Microsoft 365, data modeling and reporting platforms.
Experience with generative AI, copilots, machine-learning-enabled platforms, Python or cloud data tools is preferred.
English proficiency for executive presentations, technical documentation and cross-functional partnership.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain enterprise analytical frameworks identifying revenue opportunities, margin leakage and operational inefficiencies.
Design, build and maintain automated dashboards, scorecards, Power BI solutions, reporting tools and data models.
Integrate and connect data across practice management, finance, inventory, procurement and other enterprise systems.
Create automated exception-monitoring and AI-enabled tools surfacing trends, anomalies and risks.
Partner with Finance, Operations and other functions to evaluate, activate and measure opportunities.
Perform deep-dive analyses, root-cause investigations and scenario modeling; translate findings into executive recommendations.
Support revenue growth, margin optimization and pricing integrity initiatives.
Develop KPI frameworks and benefit-tracking methods to measure adoption and financial impact.
Maintain data governance, reporting accuracy and quality standards for analytical products.
