Job description

This isn't a traditional BI or dashboard-development role. VCA is building a new Analytics, Data & Automation capability within Value Protection designed to turn data into measurable business opportunity.

  • Integrate and connect data across practice management, finance, inventory, procurement, payroll, compliance and other enterprise systems.
  • Create automated exception-monitoring and AI-enabled tools that proactively surface unusual trends, anomalies, financial leakage and emerging business risks.
  • Partner with Finance, Operations, Medical Operations, Revenue Cycle, Procurement and other functions to evaluate, prioritize, activate and measure opportunities.
  • Perform deep-dive analyses, root-cause investigations and scenario modeling; translate findings into clear executive recommendations.
  • Support ancillary revenue growth, charge capture, inventory optimization, pricing integrity, labor productivity and waste-reduction initiatives.
  • Develop KPI frameworks and benefit-tracking methods to measure adoption, financial impact, operational performance and sustainability.
  • Maintain data governance, reporting accuracy, documentation, access controls and quality standards for analytical products.
  • Evaluate emerging AI and automation capabilities and support pilots, enterprise transformation, RRMs and future Center of Excellence initiatives.
