Job summary

Lilly seeks a Senior Analytical Scientist to support pharmaceutical substance processes from transfer through scale-up, optimization, and production at the Lilly Medicine Foundry. You will work with chemists, engineers, and production staff to deliver robust analytical solutions in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, cGMP compliance, and development of innovative PAT tools to improve manufacturing efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemistry or closely related STEM with 5–8+ years of analytical characterization experience (M.S. 5+).
• Experience with chromatographic systems and detectors per ICH guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Transfer analytical methods with emphasis on robust, accurate test methods.
• Drive analytical/PAT strategies to enable diverse drug substance production.
• Collaborate with development and manufacturing to support clinical trials and regulatory submissions.
• Mentor team members on experimental design and data interpretation.
