Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Scientist to join our analytical development team. You will develop analytical strategies for drug substances and products across development, collaborate with multidisciplinary experts, and mentor teammates while driving data-driven decision making.

You will apply chromatography, dissolution, IR spectroscopy, MS, NMR and related techniques, with a focus on quality and regulatory readiness. Location is on-site in the United States.

Qualifications

• Requires advanced degree with strong analytical chemistry background.
• Proven ability to manage timelines with minimal supervision.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and solving analytical problems.
• Excellent oral and written communication; data visualization and reporting skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop analytical strategies supporting drug substance and product development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to choose analytical approaches and tools.
• Perform lab work, delegate tasks, and review peer results.
• Present data at team meetings and help solve technical challenges.
• Mentor peers and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Author regulatory submission sections; draft reports and review data.
• Utilize software and learn new techniques to solve complex problems.
• Apply chromatography, dissolution, IR, MS, NMR, and particle analysis skills.
