Job summary

Elanco is seeking a Senior Associate in Analytical Development to drive analytical testing and data generation for small molecule programs from early to late stage. You will bench-work, perform HPLC/UPLC, KF, and dissolution analyses, and collaborate with formulation teams to inform development decisions.

You’ll document results, present findings to cross-functional teams, and help maintain GMP-compliant operations in a hybrid Indianapolis environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree with 1–2 years of experience or Bachelor’s with 5–6 years in a pharmaceutical analytical lab.
• Strong working knowledge of analytical chemistry techniques (HPLC/UPLC, KF, dissolution).

Responsibilities

• Execute analytical testing for small molecule portfolio in GMP environment.
• Develop, qualify, and validate analytical methods.
• Document, analyze, and report data; present findings to cross-functional teams.
• Maintain laboratory operations and ensure compliance with GMP/GxP.
