Job summary

EmployBridge seeks a Senior Analyst, Workers' Compensation to own accounting, forecasting, and cost allocation for the company’s large-deductible and self-insured program. You will translate loss estimates, claims data, and payroll exposure into precise financial reporting and liabilities, partnering with Risk Management, FP&A, Payroll, and Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related analytical field.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial analysis, insurance accounting, risk finance, or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting workers' compensation, insurance, risk management, actuarial, or self-insured programs.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly accounting close for the workers' compensation program, including reserve accruals and journal entries.
• Develop, maintain, and validate branch-level workers' compensation cost allocation methodologies.
• Calculate and maintain workers' compensation burden rates used in pricing and margin models.
• Analyze claim trends, loss development, and exposure data to forecast ultimate losses and cash needs.
• Prepare workers' compensation schedules and disclosures for audits, lenders, and actuarial reviews.
