Job summary

EmployBridge is seeking an Incentive Accounting Analyst to join a collaborative Accounting & Finance team in the United States. You will handle day-to-day administration, calculation, financial reporting, and accounting of incentive programs, serving as the bridge between plan execution and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, sales compensation, incentive administration, or related fields.
• Direct experience calculating and administering commissions, bonuses, incentives, or other variable compensation programs.
• Experience supporting month-end close activities, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting.
• Experience in small to mid-sized organizations with multiple functions.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end incentive compensation process including data collection and validation.
• Calculate monthly, quarterly, and annual incentive payments with proper documentation.
• Maintain participant records, plan configurations, and eligibility rules.
• Prepare incentive accruals and true-ups with monthly estimates across plans.
• Own incentive accounting and reconciliations for expense and liability accounts.
• Reconcile incentive calculations with payroll and GL activity and investigate variances.
• Support month-end close: journal entries, reconciliations, reporting, and audit support.
• Provide variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
• Serve as primary contact for incentive-related inquiries from producers and leaders.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Finance, HR, and Operations to ensure data accuracy.
• Support governance and automation to streamline workflows and reporting.
• Assist with special projects and testing as assigned.
