Job summary

Korn Ferry in partnership with our client seeks a Workers' Compensation Claims Analyst to manage multi-jurisdictional claims from onsite Atlanta. This hands-on role requires timely reporting, investigation, documentation, and resolution of claims in compliance with state requirements and policies.

Compensation: $35-$40/hr. You will collaborate with injured employees, supervisors, third-party administrators, insurance carriers, HR, safety personnel, and outside counsel to coordinate

Qualifications

• At least two years of workers' compensation claims management experience.
• Working knowledge of workers' compensation claims practices.
• Familiarity with applicable OSHA rules and regulations.
• Experience coordinating with third-party administrators, insurance carriers, and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to manage claim documentation, follow-up activities, and communications accurately and promptly.
• Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intake, reporting, investigation, and follow-up of work-related claims.
• Assess claim classifications, including first aid, medical-only, lost-time, and controverted claims.
• Support internal investigations to identify root causes and assist with claim acceptance or denial determinations.
• Serve as a primary liaison among injured employees, supervisors, third-party administrators, and insurance carriers.
• Monitor claim activity and maintain timely, accurate documentation and communications.
• Provide relevant claim updates to field leadership and safety personnel.
• Coordinate return-to-work programs and modified-duty assignments.
• Work with outside counsel to document and support the defense of disputed or controverted claims.
• Collaborate with Human Resources to support compliance with applicable employment laws.
• Complete administrative claims activities, including state board forms, light-duty offer letters, check requests, invoice processing, and mail handling.
• Support safety and risk management initiatives.
• Contribute to projects that advance organizational safety objectives.
• Perform additional related responsibilities as assigned.

We have partnered with our client in their search for a Workers' Compensation Claims Analyst. This consultant will support a multi-jurisdictional workers' compensation program by managing, tracking, and analyzing employee injury claims. The position will help ensure claims are reported, investigated, documented, and resolved promptly and in accordance with applicable state requirements and organizational policies.
