Job summary

EmployBridge in Duluth, GA seeks a Senior Analyst, Workers' Compensation to own accounting, forecasting, and cost allocation for a large deductible/self-insured program. You will translate loss estimates and payroll exposure into accurate financial reporting, reserves, and burden rates, partnering across Risk Management, FP&A, Payroll, and Ops.

You will drive journal entries, close processes, and reporting improvements to support financial strategy and decision-making across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting/financial analysis experience.
• Experience with workers' compensation, insurance, risk management data.
• Experience with accruals, journal entries, and month-end close.
• Familiarity with large-deductible/self-insured programs is a plus.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly accounting close for workers' compensation program.
• Develop and validate cost allocation methodologies for branches.
• Calculate burden rates used in pricing and gross margin models.
• Analyze claim trends and forecast ultimate losses and cash needs.
• Support cash flow forecasting, audits, and actuarial studies.
• Prepare schedules and analyses for external audits and lenders.
• Collaborate with Risk Management, HR, Payroll, Operations, and TPAs.
• Lead process improvements to automate and strengthen reporting.
