Job Description

Responsible for managing or performing work associated with programming and configuration of internal end‑user applications that are integrated with business processes, data, and IT infrastructure. The role involves analyzing detailed business, functional, and technical requirements for the application and related system components, and translating them into application design and coding. Supports application testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding application enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor security policies, access controls, and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Analyze system performance, optimize configurations, and resolve complex technical issues and escalations to maintain reliability.
• Design and implement Windows Server infrastructure solutions, including managing Active Directory, Group Policy, and domain services.
• Oversee virtualization environments such as Hyper‑V and VMware, and plan and execute system upgrades and migrations to ensure scalability.
• Identify and implement process automation opportunities, develop and maintain technical documentation and SOPs for operational efficiency.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts while collaborating with cross‑functional teams on strategic initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 5 years of related work experience.
• Expertise in Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022) and Active Directory services, including DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and advanced administration, and virtualization platforms such as Hyper‑V and VMware.
• Experience with cloud integration (Azure AD, hybrid environments), patch management (WSUS), and backup/disaster recovery solutions.
• Strong understanding of security hardening, endpoint protection, and performance monitoring tools such as PerfMon, SCOM, and SolarWinds.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and VPNs.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Physical Demands

Lift and carry 7 lbs., continuous sitting >67%, frequent keyboard use/repetitive motion, frequent fine motor activity/wrist position deviation.
