Job summary

Canonical is seeking a Senior Communications Manager to lead analyst relations in a data-driven AR program. You will partner with Product Management, Alliances, Sales, and Marketing to shape narratives and manage analyst perceptions for Canonical’s open-source ecosystem and cloud-enabled offerings.

The role is senior within the communications team, reporting to the Director of Communications, with remote work across the EMEA region and opportunities for travel.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in communications with proven achievements in the AR field and market research.

• Experience managing technology communications (agency or in-house) or global AR programs.
• Track record of delivering innovative communications campaigns in technology and enhancing positioning through AR.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute analyst-focused communications plans for product announcements and partnerships.
• Use AI tools to analyze market trends and analyst sentiment for Canonical.
• Craft narratives about Canonical and its products aligned with company vision.
• Manage analyst relationships with online briefings and industry events.
• Measure AR program impact and report progress to leadership; optimize tooling and budget.
• Position Canonical in key analyst reports to drive recommendations and strengthen brand.
