How you’ll make an impact:
The Pricing & Yield Management team at SiriusXM Media is looking for a Senior Analyst Pricing & Yield who will support the organization by managing ad inventory/pricing controls and help drive monetization across SiriusXM Media’s and partners' multiple ad platforms. The right individual will help unlock revenue by operationalizing pricing guidelines and inventory controls, drive efficiency, and increase monetization opportunities.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead ongoing quantitative analyses to drive inventory and pricing decisions in support of SiriusXM Media’s streaming and podcast business with the aim of increasing overall ad monetization across multiple supply sources in addition to SiriusXM Media’s cornerstone properties.

  • Field and execute on requests from the Ad Sales and Client Services teams related to the management of ad inventory and pricing.

  • Collaborate with cross functional groups including Sales, Client Services, Ad Tech Ops, Product, Ad Product Marketing, Finance and others to maximize revenue opportunities.

  • Employ in-depth understanding of ad functionality, availability/supply and demand, and delivery mechanism to influence market rate card and pricing of custom ad packages.

  • Evaluate profitability and conduct cost/benefit analysis of advertising deals and business partnerships.

  • Analyze sales behavior across the organization to identify trends and optimize pricing decisions.

  • Develop quantitative analysis, ad hoc reports, models, to support decision making.

  • Forecast inventory availability, sell-through, employing statistical analysis and modeling as needed.

  • Maintain operational reporting, forecasting models, and dashboards related to all ad sales revenue channels.

What you’ll need:

  • Minimum 3+ years of direct experience in the area of quantitative business analysis, including 1-2 years’ experience of dedicated pricing, yield management and inventory management a plus

  • Education: BA/BS in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, or Social Sciences with quant component

  • Experience with digital advertising and online publishers with multiple sales channels, plus excellent writing and communication skills

  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and comfort in fast-paced, changing environment a must.

  • Knowledge of Salesforce, order management systems, and/or other business analytics and reporting software such as Tableau preferred.

  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $72,000to $112,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
