Job summary

Johnson & Johnson and its DePuy Synthes transition in Raynham, MA, seeks a Process Excellence Engineer responsible for strategic planning across supply chain and manufacturing. You will supervise engineering staff, drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives, and ensure GMP/ISO compliance while delivering measurable performance gains.

Required: a bachelor’s in engineering, 4+ years in operations, and strong analytical and leadership abilities; bilingual English–Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum 4 years relevant supervision, administration, and project direction.
Experience in medical products, and technical studies, preferably.
Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing; Black Belt certification encouraged.
Knowledge of materials systems, inventories, and supply chain.

Responsibilities

Develop a strategic plan for the area and the supply chain with short and long-term goals.
Ensure project plans align with the plant's strategic goals and timelines.
Update the performance measure system and report results to Plant Management.
Lead training on systems and changes for manufacturing, supply chain, and materials.
Coordinate cross-department meetings to present improvements and status.
Promote open communication with other project leaders across plants.
