The candidate will be responsible for the scale up and improvement of processes in Logistics. This includes cross functional collaboration with various organizational functions (Design Engineering, Program Office, Operations, Quality Engineering, Etc.) to ensure project milestones are achieved. The desired individual will be able to balance needs while providing solutions to ensure targets and performance requirements are met. The Industrial Engineer will also identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives, typically aimed at improving product performance, reducing product and process variation, and product cost. They will provide cross functional leadership and work directly with all levels of staff from the production floor to senior leadership to ensure products meet all necessary quality standards while still maintaining program milestones
To be successful in this role the candidate must have excellent organizational and time management skills, being able to effectively prioritize to meet deadlines. The candidate must excel at critical thinking and problem solving, being able to apply their engineering skills to solve complex issues, while working under limited direction. Adaptability and being able to rapidly shift gears is critical in this role. The candidate should have good communication skills and be a team player.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply. The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
