Job summary

Charles River is seeking a Senior Analyst, Global Procurement COE, to build and optimize supplier spend data, support procurement tech, and drive KPI reporting. Remote from home office; candidate will collaborate across procurement, finance and operations.

The role emphasizes data manipulation, SAP/Jaggaer knowledge, and developing measurable KPIs while delivering insights to improve savings and supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline; MBA a plus.
• 3+ years in data analytics, financial analysis, procurement or supply chain.
• CPM or CPSM desirable; data certifications.
• Excellent written and oral communication; interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical skills; manipulating large datasets; Excel, Access and BI.
• Knowledge of SAP; working knowledge of Jaggaer Procure To Pay.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; manage multiple priorities.
• Experience initiating efficiency/optimization programs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and roll out Procurement technology modules with strong UX and adoption.
• Ensure system uptime and perform root-cause analysis of issues.
• Serve as COE for data requests across procurement, finance and business.
• Work with category managers to drive supplier base improvement.
• Develop and track KPIs and SLA metrics for the department.
• Define data standards for consistent, accurate business insights.
• Identify external data subscriptions and market intelligence sources.
• Support category teams with data for strategy, spend analysis, and RFPs.
• Design supplier communications and surveys.
• Maintain departmental knowledge on internal/external sites.
