Job summary

BBVA USA is seeking a Senior Analyst in the Global Institutional Business NextGen Pool in New York. You will support Relationship Managers, perform financial and credit analysis, and coordinate across Risk, Legal, and Product teams to drive client coverage and deal execution.

You will develop a deep understanding of Financial Sponsors, contribute to pitches and proposals, and help manage cross-border opportunities across the USA, Europe, and Latin America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience; MBA preferred but not required.
• Experience in Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Credit, Leveraged Finance, Financial Sponsors coverage or a related financial services role.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling and credit analysis skills.
• Fluency in English required; Spanish and other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Global Relationship Managers across client coverage and transaction execution.
• Prepare transaction summaries and risk-adjusted-return analyses for internal approvals.
• Coordinate with Risk, Legal, and Product teams across geographies.
• Assist in developing client pitches and commercial proposals with Product partners.
• Monitor sponsor activity, portfolio developments and market trends.
• Contribute to internal reporting and pipeline management.
