Job summary

BBVA's Corporate Client Coverage Summer Analyst program in New York offers hands-on exposure to corporate banking, client coverage and deal execution within a global financial institution. Analysts work with Junior and Senior Bankers across industries, gaining experience in financial analysis, client materials and internal processes, with potential for a full-time Analyst role after graduation.

The program covers five industries (Energy, Consumer, TMT, Industrials, Infrastructure & Construction)

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with expected graduation in 2028.
• Strong academic performance and interest in finance, economics, accounting, business or related fields.
• Foundational understanding of accounting, corporate finance and financial statements.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with interest in financial modeling and credit analysis capabilities.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with willingness to learn additional tools.
• Interest in financial markets, corporate strategy and broader economic environment.
• Fluency in English required; Spanish and other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Junior and Senior Bankers in preparing for client meetings, including research and briefing notes.
• Assist with preparation of pitch materials and analysis for financing, capital markets and product opportunities.
• Support live transaction and client-related workstreams, including materials coordination and follow-up items.
• Conduct research on existing and prospective clients to support relationship development and opportunities.
