CVS Health is seeking a Senior Analyst, Executive Underwriting Priorities to provide analytical support to Caremark Underwriting leadership. You will research, validate, and synthesize information to resolve time-sensitive questions and enable informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.

This role emphasizes Excel modeling, SQL data extraction, and cross-functional collaboration with data teams, finance partners, and subject matter experts to explain changes in pricing and forecasting.

Qualifications

• 2 years of analytics/finance/underwriting or related quantitative experience.
• Excel expertise with complex formulas and modeling.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL concepts.

Responsibilities

• Respond to ad hoc requests with analysis and readouts for leadership.
• Identify drivers behind changes in pricing and forecasts.
• Collaborate with underwriting stakeholders to gather data and validation.
• Develop side analyses in Excel to validate assumptions.
• Query databases with SQL to extract and validate inputs.
• Document assumptions and keep notes to improve repeatability.
• Prepare meeting briefs and capture decisions and next steps.
• Identify opportunities to improve output clarity and templates.
