Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Analyst, Executive Underwriting Priorities to provide analytical and operational support to Caremark Underwriting leadership. You will investigate drivers of change in pricing and forecasting outputs, validate data, and synthesize insights to enable timely, informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires Excel proficiency, SQL experience, and the ability to work with large datasets across multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

2 years of relevant professional experience in analytics, finance, underwriting, actuarial, forecasting, or related quantitative discipline.
Experience with Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and structured modeling.
Familiarity with relational databases and SQL concepts for data extraction, validation, and analysis.

Responsibilities

Respond to ad hoc requests by gathering facts and producing clear readouts for leadership.
Perform diagnostic reviews to explain changes in results across pricing and forecasting tools/models.
Partner with stakeholders across underwriting to obtain answers and confirm interpretation of results.
Build side analyses in Excel to validate assumptions and quantify impacts.
Work with structured datasets and support extraction/validation of inputs and outputs using SQL.
