Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant professional experience in analytics, finance, underwriting, actuarial, forecasting, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and structured modeling (e.g., INDEX/MATCH or XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, pivot tables, error checking, reconciliation techniques).
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL concepts for data extraction, validation, and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Respond to a broad range of ad hoc requests by gathering facts, performing targeted analyses, and producing clear readouts for leadership and partners.
• Perform diagnostic reviews to explain changes in results across pricing and forecasting tools/models.
• Partner with stakeholders across the underwriting ecosystem to obtain answers, trace data lineage, and confirm interpretation of results.
• Build and maintain side analyses (primarily in Excel) to validate assumptions and quantify impacts for leadership decisions.
• Work with structured datasets and support extraction/validation of inputs and outputs using SQL.
• Prepare meeting briefs and represent leadership in lower-priority meetings to capture key takeaways.
• Identify opportunities to streamline recurring requests and improve outputs and documentation.
