Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a clinical information systems specialist to lead planning, design, development, implementation, functionality, and evaluation of integrated health IT solutions that support patient care, administrative operations, and improved patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Requires a college degree in Computer Science, Healthcare, Nursing, Pharmacy, or Allied Health and 4 years in IT, preferably in clinical operations.
• Experience with analysis, specification design, and implementation of healthcare IT solutions.
• Ability to apply clinical and technical knowledge to support deployment and optimization of healthcare technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, development, implementation, functionality, and evaluation of integrated clinical information systems.
• Coordinate and support all applications and software upgrades for clinical systems.
