Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a professional to lead the planning, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of integrated clinical information systems that support patient care and hospital operations.

You will coordinate clinical workflows, provide training, and ensure system functionality across clinical applications, with emphasis on analysis, testing, and successful deployments in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Requires college degree in Computer Science, Healthcare, Nursing, Pharmacy, or Allied Health and 4 years IT experience, preferably in Clinical Operations.
• Knowledge of systems implementation, including analysis, specification design, and implementation.
• Understanding of clinical workflows and integration of information systems to support patient care and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, development, implementation, functionality, and evaluation of integrated clinical information systems.
• Coordinate and provide support for new and updated clinical systems and upgrades.
• Advise end-user training and develop training programs for clinical applications.
