YOUR MISSION
Demand Planning:
- Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach working with Sales and Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for financial and demand forecasts.
- Create, maintain, and report on a monthly US unit forecast for both stock and custom clubs, beginning with product families and breaking it down to the SKU level.
- Responsible for loading the forecast into the ERP system, ensuring load completeness and accuracy.
- Facilitate gap analysis between Demand Plan and Revenue Plan.
- Communicate forecast uploads and changes to buyer planners.
- Manage the Global Forecasting Process: create/update forecast templates quarterly and partner with international markets to generate forecasts for each region.
- Provide the global forecast to Sourcing Teams and Tier 1 suppliers within the first week of each month.
- Input and direct inventory strategies for new product launches, existing items, and product phase-outs/End of Life processes.
- Monitor and report on forecast accuracy trends.
- Lead monthly demand review meetings with Sales, Finance, and Buyer Planners.
Business Analytics & Reporting
- Analyze critical business results and provide key insights on the current state of the business.
- Publish monthly KPI analytics data, creating reports and dashboards to communicate sales performance, identify improvement areas, and measure the effectiveness of sales strategies.
- Perform data cleaning and preparation, including filtering, handling missing values, and dataset preparation for analysis.
- Explore and analyze data using statistical tools to identify patterns, relationships, and trends.
- Create visual data representations through charts, graphs, and dashboards.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate insights and findings to stakeholders.
- Support additional reporting requests as needed.
YOUR TALENT
- 5-7+ years of experience in Demand or Sales & Operations Planning, with expertise in statistical forecasting methods and tools.
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field preferred; relevant work experience may substitute for formal education.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and advanced data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- APICS, IBF, or related certifications are preferred.
- Proven track record of process improvements and aligning strategies with business objectives.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds, sit or stand for extended periods, and perform standard office tasks.
The hiring range base pay for this position is $82,000 - $116,645 plus bonus and benefits. Pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
