This position reports to

Senior Business Controller

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will support the $1B ELIP US region by providing reliable and timely analysis of financial results, budgets, and forecasts to assist Region Leadership in decision-making. You will also optimize controlling activities, enhance transparency on key KPIs, and drive sustainable performance improvements. The work model is: #LI - Remote. This role contributes to the Electrification Installation Products Division in the US. Your main responsibilities include:

1. Process Optimization: Challenge the status quo, drive process improvements aligned with the global fast close process, and adapt to new applications like SAP Torque for automation and efficiency.
2. Financial Reporting: Establish and oversee processes and tools to ensure transparent financial results for global and US leadership, maintaining high data quality and compliance with ABB standards. Understand key financial statements: Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
3. Internal Controls and Compliance: Support US region compliance with Sarbanes Oxley [SOX], US GAAP, and ABB policies, leading initiatives as needed and ensuring alignment with policies and internal controls.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with manufacturing facilities and distribution centers on finance projects, promoting process harmonization and collaboration with sales, marketing, and product managers.
5. OHS and Integrity: Support a safe working environment, continuous HSE improvements, and integrity standards, embodying ABB values and group standards.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
• 10+ years of controlling, financial analysis, operations, or internal controls experience
• Strong knowledge of financial statements and internal controls
• Detail-oriented team player capable of meeting strict deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with geographically dispersed teams
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
• Experience with SAP Torque and tools like Power BI, TM1
• Willingness to travel up to 10%
• Must have valid work authorization for the US
