Reporting To: Senior Business Controller

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will support the $1B ELIP US region by providing reliable and timely analysis of financial results, budgets, and forecasts to aid regional leadership decision-making. You will also optimize controlling activities and enhance transparency on key KPIs to drive sustainable business performance.

The work model for this role is: #LI - Remote. This position contributes to the Electrification Installation Products Division in the US.

You will be mainly accountable for:

1. Process Optimization: Challenge the status quo, drive process improvements in line with global fast close procedures, and leverage SAP Torque and other applications for automation and efficiency.
2. Financial Reporting: Establish and oversee processes to ensure transparent financial results, maintaining high quality and compliance with ABB standards, and understanding key financial statements.
3. Internal Controls and Compliance: Support US region compliance with SOX, US GAAP, and ABB policies, leading initiatives as necessary.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as liaison with manufacturing facilities and distribution centers, promoting process harmonization and collaboration with sales, marketing, and product management teams.
5. OHS and Integrity: Promote a safe working environment and uphold ABB values and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 10+ years of controlling, financial analysis, or internal controls experience
• Strong knowledge of financial statements and internal controls
• Detail-oriented team player with adherence to deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work remotely with distributed teams
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
• Experience with SAP Torque and tools like Power BI and TM1
• Willingness to travel up to 10%
• Legal work authorization in the US
