This role is part of the Credit Analytics team that is responsible for managing, monitoring, and reporting on the performance of a $90B+ portfolio of largely transitional commercial real estate loans. The role works closely with the Situs Asset Management and Servicing teams to deliver accurate, timely, high-quality deliverables with limited management support. The incumbent should possess advanced analytical skills, advanced Excel skills and have an applied understanding of real estate finance, terminology, and performance metrics.

Essential Job Functions

• Assist in training and development of junior analysts.
• Collect, spread, and analyze financial statements to assess performance of CRE loans or underlying real estate collateral.
• Design and build spreadsheet templates and/or financial models related to loan performance metrics for debt or collateral analysis.
• Model new assets in existing loan performance models that report historical and projected cash flows. This may involve making customizations of template based on negotiated loan terms.
• Manage communication (both oral and written) with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Review and summarize deliverables and milestones provided under loan documents and enter those requirements in an Asset Management-focused Access database.
• Prepare monthly asset-level reports in Excel.
• Gather market data in terms of rent, occupancy, absorption, sales trends, etc.
• Support asset management and servicing teams in their daily responsibilities.
• Assist in preparation of quarterly collateral valuations.
• Assist in preparation of various ad-hoc reports.
• Such other activities as may be assigned by your manager.
  
  

Qualifications/ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related subjects or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Mid-level professional with 2-4 years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically at an Analyst level role or external equivalent.
• Strong analytical and computer skills with an advanced knowledge of Excel including the ability to perform cash flow analyses.
• Must be able to work efficiently with large datasets to process and present results as requested
• Ability to work in a team environment, to think independently and generate quality work product
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines with limited oversight
• Adhere to processes and procedures but suggest and implement improvements when warranted
• Attention to detail is a must
• Strong reading comprehension
• Strong business writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills

The annual full time base salary range for this role is

$55,000.00 - $67,000.00

Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
