Description

1. Performs a variety of customer service activities for RCS private label credit card merchants and dealers, typically of larger size and complexity.
2. Leads activities of the unit, assigning, prioritizing, and monitoring work.
3. Provides direction, answers questions, and offers technical guidance on complex issues.
4. Resolves escalated issues by consulting with staff, internal departments, and external contacts.
5. Provides training and mentoring for new and less experienced staff.
6. Participates in developing unit policies and procedures by communicating new situations and solutions.
7. Provides ongoing process-oriented services such as account reconciliation, settlement, exception handling, and other accounting-related inquiries.
8. Accesses merchant accounts, understands customer issues, evaluates account information, and responds according to policies.
9. Researches complex issues, reviews contracts, communicates with relevant parties, and decides on appropriate responses.
10. Distributes program materials to merchants and confirms supply requirements.
11. Coordinates with internal teams to determine additional merchant needs.
12. Maintains updated merchant account information and documentation.
13. Records relevant information from calls and correspondence, and prepares reports on account activity.
14. Develops and maintains productive relationships with merchants, bank contacts, and internal departments.
15. Maintains knowledge of industry practices, products, policies, and regulations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2-3 years of related AML experience with strong knowledge of private label credit card merchant customer service practices.
• Knowledge of clerical accounting procedures.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to explain credit card products, policies, and procedures.
• Proficiency with PC and accounting systems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range is $28.00 - $35.00/hr. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, HSA, transportation benefits, employee assistance, PTO, and more, subject to eligibility and plan specifics.
