Job Title: Senior CreditAnalyst

Department: Accounts Receivable Governance

Reporting To: Corporate Credit Manager

Employment: Full Time

Work Arrangement: Hybrid 3 days in office required (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)

Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to play a key role in managing credit risk and ensuring financial stability while supporting business growth. This role is responsible for performing daily credit checks, holds, and contributing to various Order-to-Cash (OTC) functions, including credit, billing, collections, and cash applications.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Perform credit reviews on new clients, prepare scorecards, and make credit limit recommendations for management approval.
  • Work in close liaison with the sales organization and finance business partners to communicate and facilitate credit decisions and policies.
  • Keep client credit profiles and records organized and current.
  • Execute monthly health checks for high risk and credit stop clients.
  • Maintain the daily credit override tracker and send monthly override reports to local business offices.
  • Monitor the daily credit hold activity to ensure internal procedures are being followed by Credit Team.
  • Escalate issues to Credit Manager with supporting explanations and documentation.
  • Maintain an adequate balance between supporting sales and ensuring financial policies are being followed as prescribed by finance audit requirements.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and technology enablers.
  • Manage cases within the case management system.
  • Mentor and train shared service team members and credit analysts.
  • Lead credit-related projects and presentations.
Qualifications

Education/Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Fiannce.
  • 5+ years of related work experience.
  • 5+ years of customer service-related experience.

Required & Preferred:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Informed decision making.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptable to new ideas and ways of accomplishing tasks and projects.
  • Ability to research, interpret, and reconcile data.
  • General knowledge of SOX controls.
  • Proficient in: MS Office, Credit Reporting Agencies (ie: Dun & Bradstreet, Moody’s, CreditSafe), Wide Orbit Traffic (ERP System) and Payment Portal, Salesforce, and Boostr.
