David is seeking a Senior Analyst, Business Systems to own NetSuite and related data flows within the Finance function in New York City. This hands-on role partners with implementation consultants and cross-functional teams to enable scalable processes across Finance, Supply Chain, and Retail.

• 3+ years of experience as a technical systems analyst, NetSuite functional consultant, or data architect.

• Familiarity with supply chain and accounting operations.
• Strong technical aptitude and vendor collaboration.
• Strong communicator translating complexity for cross-functional teams.

David creates tools to increase muscle and decrease fat. Our first product is a protein bar. More broadly, David is a platform to develop high-protein, low-calorie, blood-sugar-friendly foods that are craveable.

Role and Responsibilities:

The Senior Analyst, Business Systems will report to the Systems and Data Manager and sit within the Finance function. This is a hands‑on role responsible for owning David’s NetSuite environment, supporting broader systems maintenance (including Supabase, Tray.io, Owlery.ai, etc.) – ensuring data architecture supports the Finance, Supply Chain, and Retail teams as the company scales. You will partner closely with our NetSuite and implementation consultants, working at the intersection of building business processes, data flow, and systems integration.

NetSuite Administration & Maintenance

• Serve as the internal NetSuite point of contact, maintaining configuration, saved searches/reports, documentation of key workflows/capabilities, and permissions.
• Test and deploy new features or workflows as NetSuite releases updates; manage UAT for changes.
• Support workflow automation and scripting troubleshooting with SuiteFlow and SuiteScript.

Systems Design & Ownership

• Translate business needs across Finance, Retail, and Supply Chain into clear system requirements and configuration guidance.
• Validate system design decisions for scalability, data accuracy, and process integrity; flag risks and recommend long‑term solutions.
• Act as a functional subject‑matter expert across all tools, ensuring each system supports David’s overall operating model.

Integrations & Data Flow

• Own the data flows and integrations feeding NetSuite end to end (e.g., WMS, Tray.io, Owlery).
• Monitor integration health, troubleshoot sync and data errors, and ownroot‑cause fixes in‑house.
• Coordinate with vendors and managed‑service partners when escalation is genuinely warranted, and steadily reduce how often that’s needed.

Qualifications and Experience

• 3+ years of experience as a technical systems analyst, NetSuite functional consultant, or data architect supporting Finance and Supply Chain teams.
• Deep working knowledge of NetSuite ERP.
• Hands‑on experience with system integrations between NetSuite and across integrations (Tray.io, Supabase, or similar tools), coordinating with vendors / managed‑service partners.
• Familiarity with supply chain and accounting operations.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot issues and collaborate with vendors as needed.
• Strong communicator who can translate system complexity into clear, actionable guidance for cross‑functional teams.
• A proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset with a desire to help build an early‑stage CPG company and a willingness to learn.
• Experience in a high‑growth or CPG, operations‑heavy environment preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

• We work in the office 5 days per week in New York City – when culture lines up, it is fun to be in the office together.
• Salary: $100-125K per year, inclusive of cash bonus based on attainment of company targets.
