National Grid is hiring a Senior Analyst, ADA Compliance and Absence Management. This hybrid role is located in our Northboro, MA location.

Job Purpose

The NE Senior Analyst, ADA Compliance and Absence Management is part of the New England Absence Management team and is responsible for the administration, coordination, and compliance oversight of National Grid's ADA Reasonable Accommodation, Leave of Absence (LOA), disability, and related absence management programs.

Key Accountabilities
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for ADA accommodations, leave of absence and disability programs providing guidance to employees, managers, HR business partners, and labor relations on accommodation and leave management processes and requirements.
  • Administer and manage ADA accommodation requests and complex absence cases, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company policies while balancing employee and business needs.
  • Manage relationships with third-party administrators and disability vendors, ensuring accurate claim administration, policy interpretation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain accurate case documentation and reporting within Cority and other systems, including accommodation, leave, disability, and compliance records.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement activities, including accommodation reviews, leave case discussions and compliance audits.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to share best practices and provide compliance advice.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in absence management or HR case management
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML).
  • Ability to communicate empathetically with employees while maintaining confidentiality and guiding managers through the process.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills to manage claims accurately.
  • Excellent computer and data analysis skills (Microsoft Office suite)

$109,000 - $128,000 a year
