Qualifications

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years in analog/mixed-signal IC design with 5+ years in leadership, system architecture, or principal design role.
• Strong DC-DC converter architectures and control techniques experience.
• Proven experience designing automotive/industrial PMICs, regulators, battery management, or power conversion products.
• Expertise with industry-standard EDA tools (Cadence, Synopsys, Siemens).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive architectures for DC-DC converters and PMICs, ensuring alignment with product, performance, quality, reliability, cost, and functional safety requirements.
• Translate requirements into robust analog/mixed-signal architectures and implementation plans for automotive/industrial applications.
• Lead architecture exploration, topology selection, and design tradeoff analyses for buck, boost, buck-boost, multiphase, and integrated PMICs.
• Develop building blocks: error amplifiers, references, compensation networks, sensing circuits, gate drivers, protection, oscillators, ADCs, and digital-assisted control.
• Create control architectures that optimize efficiency, transient response, EMI, accuracy, and thermal behavior.
• Collaborate with system, applications, digital, verification, validation, layout, and test teams to meet targets.
• Lead design reviews, architecture reviews, and technical decisions throughout development lifecycle.
• Guide transistor-level design, simulation, silicon bring-up, characterization, debugging, and ramp activities.
• Ensure compliance with automotive/industrial reliability, diagnostics, functional safety, and robustness requirements.
• Work with customers and system architects to establish requirements and roadmaps.
• Mentor engineers and advance design methodologies and automation flows.
