Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in Chandler, Arizona is seeking an experienced Power Analog Designer to join the Advanced Power Systems group. You will architect and lead PMIC designs for automotive and industrial applications, guiding them from concept through production.

You will manage mixed-signal IC development, DC-DC converters, and analog/mixed-signal circuits, collaborating with digital, validation, and application teams to meet performance, safety, and reliability goals.

Qualifications

• MSEE required.
• 10+ years in mixed signal IC development; >5 years as architect or tech leader.
• Experience with mixed-signal ICs and analog system design.
• Familiar with power management design.
• DC-DC architecture and design expertise.
• Cadence design tools: Virtuoso, Spectre, AMS.
• Strong communication in English; cross-functional teamwork.
• Creative thinker with broad architectural view.

Responsibilities

• Define IC architecture and lead execution from design to production.
• Lead analog and mixed-signal designs for DC-DC PMICs.
• Ensure performance, quality, reliability, and safety.
• Collaborate with digital, system, validation, and applications teams.
• Align with customers to target PMIC solutions.
• Support test and quality teams through development cycle.
