Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Senior-level engineer to develop, simulate, characterize, and deliver timing models for custom analog-digital interface circuits. You will create Liberty.lib timing models and support integration into digital timing flows, leveraging transistor-level SPICE and cross-functional collaboration.

Ideal candidates have strong transistor-level design experience and experience with timing concepts, PVT characterization, and scripting to automate characterization flows.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related field with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with transistor-level simulation using SPICE-class tools.
• Strong understanding of CMOS digital circuit design including inverters, combinational logic, latches, flip-flops, transmission gates, clocked logic, reset/set structures.
• Experience generating or validating Liberty.lib files.
• PVT-based characterization and corner analysis.
• Ability to analyze SPICE waveforms and debug timing behavior.

Responsibilities

• Generate and maintain Liberty.lib models for custom digital and analog‑digital interface circuits with timing arcs and PVT variations.
• Characterize timing over PVT corners, slew, load, and parasitic conditions; validate against transistor-level simulations.
• Collaborate with analog/digital/verification/STA/physical design teams and support integration into flows.
• Document methodologies, produce characterization reports, and create reusable templates and automation.
• Mentor junior engineers in custom timing characterization and Liberty modeling.
