Job summary

Renesas is seeking senior analog IC designers to join our Rad Hard IC design team in RTP, NC or Palm Bay, FL. You will contribute to the design of high-performance power management and mixed-signal ICs for space applications, including 40V–100V DC-DC converters, LDOs, and multi-function PMICs.

The role involves defining products with marketing, applying advanced process technologies, transistor-level design, and program management to meet schedules while validating devices before production

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of integrated analog circuit design.
• Thorough understanding of bipolar, BiCMOS, and BCD process technologies and circuit design techniques.
• Thorough understanding of large power transistor (bipolar and DMOS) design, layout, and robustness.
• Thorough understanding of switch-mode power conversion topologies (BOOST & BUCK, multiple-phase current sharing).
• Experience with Cadence tools for analog design and mixed signal simulations.
• Experience with radiation hardened power management products desirable.

Responsibilities

• Participate in product definition working with marketing, applications, and customers.
• Apply your in-depth understanding of power process technologies to design innovative power management products.
• Transistor level design of mixed-signal circuits for new and derivative power management products.
• Manage programs to achieve schedule objectives.
• Validate and debug products before transferring to production engineering.
• Interface with process, test, product, application, and marketing managers and engineers to bring new products from concept to production.
