Job summary

Renesas Electronics in San Jose is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to join our Rad-Hard IC design team focused on space-grade power management products. You will design high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits, including ultra-low quiescent-current DC-DC converters and LDOs.

Responsibilities include defining product direction with marketing and customers, performing transistor-level design, leading programs to meet schedules, and ensuring robust verification before production

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of analog circuit design and power management.
• Experience with bipolar, BiCMOS and BCD processes.
• Proficient in transistor-level design and layout for high-power ICs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on product definition with marketing, applications, and customers.
• Execute transistor-level design of mixed-signal circuits for new power management products.
• Lead and manage programs to meet scheduled project objectives.
• Validate and debug products prior to production transfer.
• Interface with cross-functional teams to bring products from concept to release.
