Job summary

Renesas is seeking a Senior Analog Engineer to join the Analog Design team in San Jose. You will design, simulate, verify, and develop high-performance analog and mixed-signal ICs for automotive, industrial, and power management applications.

Responsibilities include circuit design, architecture, layout support, silicon validation, and reliability testing while collaborating with global teams. Strong CMOS fundamentals and Cadence tools are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Education: MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering (or B.S. with equivalent).
• Deep understanding of CMOS device physics and analog circuit fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Cadence Virtuoso and Spectre for design/simulation.
• Strong technical documentation and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Circuit design, simulation, verification and development of analog/mixed-signal ICs.
• Design and develop precision references, bias circuits, op-amps, LDOs, oscillators and data-converter support circuits.
• Support floorplanning and work with layout engineers for robust analog layout.
• Analyze silicon measurements, lab evaluation and drive design improvements.
• Support product qualification, characterization and reliability testing.
