Job summary

iCapital is seeking a Compliance Assistant Vice President in Salt Lake City, leading the review and approval process for investor AML and KYC with a private fund focus. You will ensure adherence to AML/KYC regulations and support the Legal and Compliance teams with various tasks.

You will review investor documentation, perform third-party screening, and provide guidance across business lines. Strong communication, project management, and a proactive mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of alternatives experience, including broker dealer and registered investment adviser.
• Strong knowledge of the Investment Company Act of 1940, Securities Act of 1933 and Cayman Islands AML regulations.
• AML and KYC knowledge of regulatory requirements for private fund investors.
• Experience with AML screening resolution vendor tools (LexisNexis, World-Check, ComplyAdvantage).
• ACAMS certification is preferred; JD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review investor AML and KYC documentation, client communications, quarterly reporting and monitoring.
• Perform third-party reliance testing and monitoring.
• Collaborate across business lines on initiatives, providing compliance guidance.
• Conduct AML screening review and dispositions.
• Assist in preparing for and responding to inquiries and audits.
